I had already signed a contract with a different contractor but needed independent unbiased advice on work that was completed. I found Innovative Building and Design online, and saw they were local, so gave them a call. They returned my call promptly. After explaining my unique situation they had me speak with one of the owners - Justin. He was very understanding, and scheduled a time to come out the very next day!!Justin spent over an hour with me completing a very thorough inspection and listened to all my concerns. He was able to offer great insight and advice on some issues I asked about as well as issues I wasn’t even aware of. His years of experience clearly showed.I cannot thank Innovation Building and Design enough for their exemplary customer service. Which is unfortunately not easily found these days. I wished I had taken more time in finding the right contractor. Next time, I would work with this company in a heartbeat.

Richard House at Innovative Building & Design went above and beyond to be supportive through the process of storm damage repair. Never filing an insurance claim before, Richard was there to guide us at each step. He supplied us with an excellent 3D design tool to apply different color options to our home before making a selection. Richard was present while the insurance adjuster evaluated the damage and communicated with the desk adjuster to know exactly how our claim was being processed. The crew completed the job in one day and the quality control was great, making sure there were no trash or nails left behind. I couldn’t recommend Richard or Innovative Building & Design enough!

We reached out to Innovative in fall of 2020 for a new pool. Justin came out with Troy to take a look at the best option for our yard. Justin was fantastic to work with. He was consistently available to answer questions and was very knowledgeable. Our pool was installed early spring 2021 by Joe and his team. We used Innovative after a flood in our basement several years ago when our sump pump failed. They helped us immediately after it happened to get the area free of water damaged materials including drywall, flooring and cabinets. They remodeled the entire basement including the bathroom, walls, flooring, installed closet and other interior doors and updated the electrical. It was a big job and they were professional and highly skilled. They answered questions and handled the various teams that came in and kept the project on budget and on schedule. Years later, we had them replace our roof and siding and deck. They also updated our columns and replaced our front door. We have a home built in 1978. It looks great now with the new exterior. I highly recommend Innovative. They were excellent.

I worked with Richard mostly on the hail damage that was done to my house siding and roof back in 2019. He and Innovative held my hand through the process and worked directly with the insurance companies to make sure everything was judged fairly. We first contracted Innovative back in the fall of 2017 to repair our roof and siding after we had extensive hail damage. The owner Justin Kahmann took our first call directly and was out the next day to perform an inspection. He provided clear recommendations on required repairs and best quality materials to use, and also helped us navigate the insurance claim process. As part of the project we also worked with Joe Hansmann and his team to replace our brick veneer exterior with new stone. Both Justin and Joe were very responsive and professional throughout the whole process especially considering the large amount of jobs they had on their plates after the massive 2017 hail storm. We only had one minor issue with our AC unit not turning on after the siding was installed, but the team was quick to come out and fix it. We've now had our new exterior for 3+ years and have not had any issues. The attached picture shows a side by side of the before (red roof) and after (gray). We trust... Innovative's work that we have referred them to our family and also contracted them to renovate our kitchen. I will leave a separate review with pictures on the kitchen renovation, but so far we've been extremely impressed with the turnaround time of the demo and installation of our new cabinets/flooring (only 3 days total!) We plan to continue using Innovative for our repair and renovation needs, and will also recommend to friends and family.read more

Had a great experience with Innovative Building & Design. We started our project of siding with a request for a price quote. Richard House came out to take measurements to accurately give an estimate. In that process, they do a whole house inspection. He inspected the roof and found that there was hail damage on our roof and gutter. We filed a claim with the insurance and he walked us through the whole process. Richard was great when it came to working with the adjusters and the insurance claim team. We started the siding project without knowing if/when the roof project would happen. He was always willing to come to our house when we had questions about the project. He was easy to reach by phone or text at any reasonable time. When we had issues with the crew, Richard came out to fix the issue himself. Siding project completed. Roof project to start. Same thing, he was there for any issues/questions. Jeff was quick to finish the little tasks such as putting up the light fixtures,... doorbell, weatherstripping on the garage door, etc. Even after the projects are completed they are there to fix issues. Richard House did a fantastic job estimating and dealing with my insurance company. He’s great at what he does and he is very responsive, he communicates better than any other project manager I’ve dealt with on any insurance claim work. His team at Innovative installed my roof quickly and cleaned up every day - a quality roof installation, and a very professional team all the way around. Innovative Building and Design came out to help with a half finished storm damage project. Our original contractor left us with over half the siding gone, trim and venting issues and became unresponsive. The very same day I inquired for help, Dave W. and his construction superintendent came to inspect the job. The owner also came out to see what was going on and we’re eager to help get the job done for us! They gave a very fair bid, kept me updated through the whole project and had it completed in a matter of weeks. They listened to our needs, worked with us to get the job done right and did a fantastic job finishing. The teams who came were very personable and just wanted to do the job right. We will definitely be back!

Justin and Innovative Design did a fantastic job of repairing and replacing our roof after a storm. Our insurance company originally turned us down for full coverage after the storm, but Justin met with the adjuster and showed them why we should receive full coverage. They are experts at design, vision and build. Our examples; they installed an inground pool with complete management of excavation, electrical, plumbing and gas. Amazing company. They completely transformed our sad backyard into an AMAZING spot for our family to make years and years of memories. Mike Went above and beyond showing me samples and choices. Justin & his crew built our beautiful in-ground pool. The pool went in very fast and the guys were great! We were referred by a friend and we would highly recommend Justin for a pool! These guys are great! They replaced our roofing and siding that was damaged in the June 2017 storms. I enjoyed working with Kelly Johnson! They do not try to upsell you anything, instead they offered options and listened to our needs. The crew was very professional and did a good job! After having a tree fall through my house Innovative quickly worked to get the roof as well as the inside of the house repaired. Now inside and outside of the house look like new. We had minor siding damage at our house from some recent high winds. Other companies had a minimum charge way over extent of damage. Sent pictures of damage, Innovative sent rough estimate, and set repair time within two days. The craftsman was on time, took pride in his work, and did an extremely professional job! The repair cost was VERY reasonable.

I had new gutters and gutter installed on my house.
They did a fine job with the way house edges go.
The rain gutter are working just fine.
I also had an emergency vent fix on the side of my roof where a raccoon got in.
